Similar features exist across all Webex product offerings. In some cases, there are a few key features that may make a specific Webex tool more useful in a specific situation. Webex Meetings is the preferred solution and can accommodate nearly all collaboration use-cases where Webex is appropriate. See below for a basic overview of each product as well as links to more detailed overviews for each platform.
Webex Meetings (Preferred)
Host and attend video meetings. Present information, share applications, and collaborate on projects. Webex Meetings includes your Personal Meeting Room as well as Scheduled Webex Meetings, see below for detailed information about both meeting types. Webex Meetings can accommodate up to 1,000 attendees.
Personal Meeting Room
Your Webex Personal Room is your own virtual conference space that you can use for meetings at anytime. Your Personal Room always has the same meeting link, so it is great for a consistent join experience for your attendees (such as students attending online course sessions). Your Personal Room is also ideal for one-on-one meetings, such as during office hours. Personal Rooms also include Breakout Sessions.
