The Edit Accommodations feature allows instructors to quickly grant students specific accommodations using the Classlist.
Currently, it supports giving students additional time to complete quizzes at the course level, as well as enabling or disabling the ability to right click during quizzes.
This is useful to quickly give a student the same accommodation, such as 50 percent more time to take a quiz, on all quizzes in a course rather than needing to add a Special Access entry for every quiz in the course.
If a student only needs extra time on a small number of the total quizzes in a course, instructors should use the Special Access feature in the Quiz tool.
To access the Edit Accommodations feature, find the student who needs the accommodation in the Classlist, and then click on the menu next to their name. Then click on the Edit Accommodations option.
This will bring up the Edit Accommodations pop-up. To grant a student additional time, check the Modify Time Limit option. Then select and fill in either a multiplier such as 1.5, or a specific amount of extra time that the student should receive on every quiz.
The instructor can also check the Always Allow Right Click option for students who need to be able to right click during the quiz in order to use assistive technology that requires it.
Finally, click Save and the settings will apply to all quizzes in the course.
